Pulan Macro Put To The Test
We've put Pulan Macro to the test with SCS Spreader and Sprayer Testing Ltd and the results are out.
Acceptable spread patterns were achieved from 24m to 54m spread widths with an Amazone ZA TS and up to 42m with a Kuhn Axis 30.1.
Before the fertiliser was put into each spreader an analysis was carried out. The Pulan Macro had an average crush strength of 5.5kg, and no granules were in the ‘less than 2mm’ size category.
Kuhn Axis 30.1 - spreads well at 24m, 36m and 42m with good measurable overlaps. Very little shattered, very little residue build up on the vanes and no dust when spreading. With S10 and/or the S12 discs wider widths may be possible. (These discs only fit onto the Axis 50 models which SCS do not have.)
Amazone ZATS - spread well at 24m, 36m and 54m with good measurable overlaps. Very little shattered and very little residue build up on the vanes and no dust when spreading.
